If you are only concerning about low potassium which won't recur without Hctz. Low potassium (hypokalemia) is common with 50 mg of Hctz even you are taking Losartan which has K retaining effect. You do not need to have blood test repeated for potassium, only the routine blood tests which your family doctor or cardiologist requests.
