Only your Drs can help with this best. New Afib and you have HTN you should be tested for primary aldosteronism to be certain that is not the cause. You can go to primaryaldosteronism.org and hyperaldosteronism@groups.io to learn more. And if you Drs has not tested you for PA then they should go there as well. It is a common cause of A Fib but not commonly tested for. Let us know what they find.
