It is more likely that the hormones changes in your body due to just having given birth are responsible for increased stooling. As long as the stool is not watery (diarrhea), there is nothing wrong with stooling 2-3 times per day. Make sure to drink copious non caffeinated fluids if you are breastfeeding, and eat a calcium rich diet high in fruits and vegetables.
