Higher nutrient need: Pregnancy requires more calorie intake than usual because of all the changes the body is going through, and the growing baby. It would be quite normal for the body to burn through everything eaten after 8 hours of sleep. If weight is rising appropriately and there is no vomiting, then this would be unlikely to be anything serious.
