Is segmented sleep as effective as normal sleep?being a student, i studies till 4am.than i sleeps from 4am to 7am.in noon,i manages to sleep 2 hrs more.so,in this way,i am sleeping 5 hrs a day but in segmented manner. may i continue this routine?

continuous sleep is more healthy and restorative then fragmented one. So revert to it when your studies are over.

No, restricting night sleep will result in less efficient or poor quality learning. Sleeping at least 6-7h at night is critical and protective specifically during stressful situations, such as studying under time pressure.
