A condition called interstitial cystitis may be responsible, sometimes caused by certain medications. Possibly chemical irritation (e.g. spermicides, vaginal deodorant products). UTI with low numbers of bacteria and STI (chlamydia, gonorrhea) can do this, but non-response to levofloxacin is strong evidence against them. Keep working with your doctor; or consult with a urologist. Good luck.

If your urine culture was neg you do not have an UTI and should not be on an antibiotic. If symptoms persist pl see a Urologist for diag. and treatment. In the meantime drink plenty of water, take OTC Azo. Hope you feel better.
