I recommend being checked for vaginal dryness by your gynecologist. If present it could explain your urethral discomfort while sitting for awhile & causing discomfort.on urinating or intercourse. It can be treated by topical estrogen which should alleviate your symptoms. If not a dryness problem,consult a urologist.

I hope the area was checked when you were seen for your UTI and if there was aproblem it would have been noticed. Drink plenty of water, do not wipe the area but gently dab it with a soft tissue and apply an OTC cortisone cream. If not better in a few days you will need to see a Urologist. But I think you will be OK
