Breast cancer rarely manifests with shooting pain, especially at your age. If you are close to your period, it could be hormone related. Shingles often presents with shooting pain on the chest unilaterally, and then within 24-48 hours rashes will develop in that area. Compared to breast cancer at your age, shingles is more common. Or you likely have the idiopathic pain and it will go away shortly.
