Was taking bactrim ds for 6 days for skin infection. should have been 10 days but was having side effects. doctor said i should try for 7 days if i can but 6 if it looks healed could work. ive missed three doses. can i start back and finish 4 days?

It depends the side effects as well as how long you stopped the antibiotic. If the side effects are significant and the skin infection has improved remarkably, you should not resume it especially you already stopped for more than 3 days.
