Ive been having withdrawal symptoms going down to 12.5 of metoprolol. anxious, heart rate goes up sometimes, lack of sleep. people say it cant happen with low dose but i see all over that people have struggled. is withdrawal not common?

It is not rare and an individual thing. Sounds like you are one. My advice on starting meds is to always start low and go slow. On tapering slow is good as well. Those of Chinese descent may have differences in BB metabolism. Discuss with your Dr. Other drugs you may be taking can also affect how your body handles BB. Go to Drugs.com and enter all meds you are on, including OTC, and see.
