As expected: It means that you are having the expected effect of metoprolol. Since you lost so much weight, (congratulations!), you may need your dose reduced - check in with the doc who prescribed it with a current list of your vital signs.

Bradycardia: Congratulations on the weight loss! The one medication you take is a beta blocker which not only helps the blood pressure but can reduce the pulse rate too. Since you lost weight, your BP may have improved as well, so see the Dr. as it appears the Metoprolol may be able to be decreased at this time. get an eval and care with your Dr. regarding this. Best wishes to you.

Med side effect: Metoprolol is a blood pressure medication that works by lowering your heart rate (especially during exercise). The medication is doing what it is supposed to do, and unless you are having symptoms (feeling tired, unable to exercise, etc) I wouldn't worry about it. Glad to hear that you are exercising! Keep up the good work.
