My blood preausre opon standing went from 112/77 to 157/79 with a heart rate of 156 and immediately went back down to 108/80 when i sat down i'm 26 on metoprolol and my cardiologist says my heart fine what would cause this to happen whenever i move?

Standing BP: If arm/wrist was hanging down at you side that will cause a falsely high BP readings. Go 2 Amer Heart Assoc.org to see how to do a proper standing BP. Ask your team 2 review how ur taking standing BP. If they do it that way tell them they r dong it incorrectly recommend resting the arm on a Mayo stand so the center of the arm cuff is at heart level. If wrist. hold arm so wrist across chest.
