A member asked:

Does hepatitis b patient require any diet control other than limiting alcohol?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Patient should also avoid taking paracetamol. After that it depends if the patient has acute or chronic infection. It would be prudent to consult a doctor if the patient has chronic hepatitis B as it is treatable. Acute hep B is self limited, except in 20% of patients who get chronic infection.
