Alcohol is not: Essential, but a functioning liver is! why take the chance of further damage?

Hard to say: Alcohol is a liver toxin & often a bad choice for anyone. Hepatitis varies in its intensity and your level of healing/recovery would determine whether you could occasionally have a drink. Without knowing your liver status it is hard to make a firm recommendation.
