Ultrasound is very much technical dependence. Radiologists only read what they see but the doctor who ordered the ultrasound has to correlate the findings with your clinical condition, i.e. history, physical exam and lab results.

Ultrasound is operator driven and not a conclusive test so reports can vary depending on circumstances. Have your MD co-relate it to the reasons why he/she ordered it.
