Very Safe: Ultrasound is very safe for serial measurements of many organs including the bladder, kidneys, the heart and great vessels.

Very safe: Ultrasound uses no radiation and is one of the safest imaging tests available. Prolonged (more than 2 hours) diagnositic ultrasound performed in 1 location can cause local tissue heating but would still be very unlikely to cause any problem. Short of that, it is totally safe and could be done every day without causing a problem for the patient.
