A member asked:

I had a nephroureterectomy two years ago. at that time, there was cancer in the ureter only; none in kidney or bladder. now, there is one node that is suspicious for recurrence. chemo is advised. how effective is it?

Tell us more: How did they find the suspected node? By scan ? Please tell us your age, ct or pet scans findings. Consult with your dr about the need for biopsy for confirmation of recurrence? Do not be shy. Ask about the extent of the disease, is it localized? Did it spread ? Is it the same cancer ? What type of chemo? Keep in touch. ....We will be glad to help.
