A member asked:

My partner (female, mid 20s) has lower back pain (lumbar) after reaching down to pick up something. she has no weakness in the legs, no bladder incontinence, no chills. two days after and her back is still leaning to one side. what should she do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. She should continue her daily activities as best as she can. She may take acetaminophen for pain. If her symptoms are not improving, It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!
