Although you say you sleep well but obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) needs to be ruled out if you one of these have risk factors: obese, short neck or abnormal pharyngeal structure. You can sleep for 7-8 hours but if you have OSA, you are never in deep sleep state and it is the same as sleepless state. If sleep apnea is ruled out, narcolepsy should be next in differential diagnosis.
