GI tract: Acid reflux and loss of blood from the GI tract may be one possible cause. Please ask your physician about a trial of anti reflux medications and stool heme test.

Continue tea: The tea is not your problem. See a doctor to determine the cause of your condition, start iron supplements. Good luck

Green tea: You're drinking lots of caffeine, but if you're female, a more likely cause of iron deficiency anemia in your age group is from monthly period blood loss. Iron supplements should be taken. Of course if you had been bleeding from gastritis or a peptic ulcer, you would have noted black, tarry stools. If you're a male and developed gi bleeding you should be treated and also avoid caffeine.
