Does ativan always cause rebound anxiety? even if taken for only a week and dose being as small as 0.5 and no more than 1mg, it was prescribed to be taken as needed and so far ive had to take it 5 days in a row and stopped and started for panic attk?

It is probably your underlying problem than the symptoms caused by stopping Ativan at that low dose in just 5 days.
