Can i take 1 mg ativan 11 hours after ive taken a minimum dose of valerian tincture? i have anxiety/panic disorder and tried the valerian last night. it didnt seem to help much?

After 11 hours it is unlikely to have an interaction between Ativan and valerian tincture. However using Ativan (a benzodiazepine) for long term, chronic management of anxiety is contraindicated due to potential risks.

It will be fine. The valerian is well out of your system, so you could take the medication. To humor me, though, could you try 10 minutes of alow deep breathing and meditation 🧘♂️ with eyes closed before trying the Ativan. You may find this works better than the Ativan, and has no side effects. Go into it with a relaxed and positive attitude- if doesn't work, can always try the pill...
