My son tested positive for covid-19 yesterday and now he has a lump in his throat, he was born with a major displacement of the aortic sinuses in his heart should i take him to the emergency room due to the lump in his throat?

Oxygen saturation measurements and a chest image are recommended. He may be a candidate for monoclonal antibody treatment or an antiviral treatment. Please discuss with your physician and Cardiologist. The infection is associated with mucus production and throat pain. Monitor temperature and breathing. Watch for shortness of breath and difficulty swallowing, and please follow up.
