How does a panic attack mimic a heart attack? i have a closing sensation in my throat, sudden chest pressure, trembling. ive had many scans/blood tests and found nothing. im going through covid now and having many heart attack-like attacks daily?

Panic attacks often: last 2 to 10 mins. Possible sx’s: anxiety/panic, chest tightness/pain, rapid /pounding heartbeat, areas of numbness or pins & needles type sensation, hot flashes or chills & ^ sweating, tickle sensation in stomach or nausea, feeling dizzy /faint & shaking. Similar symptoms: A person experiencing a panic attack may experience similar symptoms to a person experiencing a heart attack, shortness of breath, chest pain/ pressure, etc and the examiner has to rule out a possible life threatening event by running tests. Follow up and treatment to stabilize the anxiety/panic disorder becomes critical in reducing the number of panic attacks.
