My roommate tested covid positive. we were in the same room 7 days ago. he felt the symptoms 2 days later. 2 days ago i felt lump feeling in throat then yesterday i tested and result negative. why do i feel it? no other sypmtopms?

Observe: Watch for other signs of the flu, including fever, Stay home, drink fluids, monitor your temperature. You should be symptom free and fever free for at three days before going outside Take Tyelnol rather than Motrin for fever, and please follow up with your PCP.

COVID 19 concerns: Lump like feeling in throat can be related to anxiety or other medical conditions. Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher if you have at least 2 of these symptoms: temp of at least 99.6 F (37.5 C), Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell.
