Follow up will be needed with a reputable urology group so that findings will be placed in proper clinical context and a good plan for followup and treatment is articulated.

I answered this question before. CT scan of the kidneys with IV contrast may be necessary if renal function is normal. The complex cyst will be assessed with more accuracy with CT and the function of each kidney can be evaluated separately (although renal nuclear scan gives better split function) for treatment decision. Size of the cystic mass will decide if biopsy should be done or US follow up.
