Recovered from covid that lasted a few days. however im experiencing daily panic attacks that ive never had before. first 2 days my panic attack lasted all day. 6 days later they only last 1-2 hours. is this permanent or will i feel normal again?

More information would be helpful. Fast heartbeat may be associated with a cardiac condition. Post COVID-19 cardiac complications have been reported. An evaluation of your symptoms and underlying cause is indicated.

Subsequent to recovery from acute infection, there appears to be cognitive and/or emotional problems in at least 30% of patients, over the next 6 months, and panic events would not be atypical. Your physician might consider some temporary medication to stabilize you. Most such events gradually improve, but if there are continuing spells, perhaps some biofeedback therapy might help you cope.
