At your age, your fasting blood sugar (FBS) is consistent with prediabetic (or glucose intolerant) condition. You need to lower carbohydrate (such as sweet foods, pasta, noodle, bread, etc) at least 10% besides weight loss with exercise and total calories reduction. FBS alone will miss postprandial (after meal) sugar level. Request HbA1C level with your next blood test for an accurate assessment.
