Hi. i have hsv1 genital. a year ago twice my son got a lesion on his groin. his pediatrician looked at it and said it didn't look like herpes. a year apart he got 2 igg blood negative tests should i worry?

You can be sure your son's skin lesions aren't herpes. Genital HSV1 probably is never transmitted in households: nobody living with anyone with genital herpes (whether HSV1 or HSV2) ever catches the virus except by sex. Only oral HSV1 is transmitted to household members, mostly by kissing, maybe rarely by shared utensils, drinking glasses, etc. Your child is not at risk of catching your HSV1.
