Definitely time to prepare for the worst, while still hoping for the best. There are many details that will be needed for a prognosis, her nephrologist would be best to estimate her prognosis having access to such details.

By your age, I guess your mother's age is above 80 years old and it is uncommon for a patient declining renal replacement treatment at her age. With conservative treatment, the average time will be around 6 months but I have patients who survive beyond one year.
