CKD stage 3: There are various stages of ckd. Stage 3 indicates that your glomerular filtration rate (gfr), which is a measurement of your kidney function (kf) is between 30 -60 ml/min, normal is >100. The rate of decline of kf to dialysis depends on what caused your ckd. Your next step is not dialysis. See a nephrologist to see what the cause of your CKD is and then you may get answer to your question.
