You say it WAS infected, which implies that someone treated it with antibiotics, and the infection is now gone but the cyst is still there. If that is the case, then you will need surgery to get rid of it, but it is a minor procedure. A dermatologist or plastic surgeon can take care of that for you, probably in the office.
