See your saurgeon: Having pain one day after surgery is normal. However you may have an allergy to the medication. This and your pain need to be addressed by your doctor.

Soon: Post op wounds often hurt for a few days, but should settle down and become less painful. If stern-strips were used to close the skin, they can cause some tugging when you move the wrist. Itching secondary to the pain meds is common. Itis a side effect, not an allergic reaction. Try taking some Benadryl (diphenhydramine) with the pain pill. If this does not help call your doctor.
