You probably had the adverse effect of medications which were given during the procedure. You need to take medication to abort this bothersome hiccups. Among the medications used for this condition, Baclofen is probably the most effective treatment for hiccups to my experience. You can call your doctor for a prescription or go to the urgent care and you can request this drug specifically.
