Playing it safe: Wisdom teeth pain in jaw and neck are with the norm, but chest pain is not! It seems that the hospital you are at is bring thorough as any oral infection can attack your heart, causing catastrophic damage. So once this emergency episode is resolved, get those wisdom teeth extracted!

What is the Question: If you went to ER for chest pain , they would do EKG to make sure it is not related to Heart. For painful wisdom heath you should ask Dentist or Oral surgeon's advise; it may need removal or if just inflamed- Rx with Antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines, Also apply Ice to the Jaw. Orogel for temporary relief.

See oral surgeon: Since the hospital did an EKG, I am assuming cardiac cause was ruled out. See an oral surgeon to assess wisdom teeth. They may have to be extracted.

See your PCP: Your physician can help you identify the cause of any chest pain. If you have pain or discomfort in your chest, neck, jaw or arms during physical activity, see your PCP.
