I have gotten a headache for a week straight, goes away with ibuprofen, but is immediately back when the medicine wears off. negative for covid. also had my eyes checked as i thought that was the issue?

There are many causes for headache. A persistent head ache should be evaluated. PL see your MD

For recurrent headache as described, there are several other conditions to consider - What is the Blood Pressure, Any History of Migraine Headache, Associated symptoms? A good place to start is a visit with PCP for a detailed history and physical exam with appropriate Labs and imaging if indicated.
