Hsv 2 igg test negative in july. had minimal genital contact with hsv positive woman, no symptoms showing. retested 4 months later and came back with 0.91 (equivocal). range is less than 0.9 for neg, 0.9 to 1.09 for equivocal. should i be worried?

All is well; you were not infected. Almost all such low equivocals are really negative. For HSV2 without symptoms, the average transmission chance for unprotected vaginal sex is around 1 in a thousand, with several minutes unprotected intercourse. Your "minimal genital contact" probably was a hundred times lower risk. Had you asked before testing, I would said no need. You're home free!
