Hsv 2 igg test came back less than 0.9 in july (neg). had minimal contact with new partner in aug. i waited 4 mos to test again and now i'm 0.91 (equivocal). what does that mean? the range for equivocal is 0.91 to 1.08. positive is more than 1.09?

An exposure in August would cause a much greater increase by now and definitely into the fully positive range. Your baseline titers are simply a bit higher than usual. Exposure to many Herpes-like viruses that are not HSV can cause this.
