Help!my son tested + for covid 11/5.recovered & since tested neg twice.his girlfriend is covid + but at about day 7.he lives with me & went and saw her last night while still she is still positive.can he get it again this soon or carry it to us now?

If they &you have been fully vaccinated problems would be less serious as the viral load in the girl friend may be lessened. I would think that if your son was going to be positive it would have occured by about day 5 of her illness. Nevertheless I would have urged him to keep away from her until she's asymptomatic for 7-10 days & he to isolate from you for 7-10 days after his initial contact

It is very less likely unless he was asymptomatic during the recent infection. If he had symptoms with the previous infection, he should be immune with natural infection so he is less likely a carrier. I would assume he had been symptomatic and that's why he was tested. I, myself, believe in natural immunity than vaccination in the first 12 months.
