Yes: If you live in the same house with your son, getting tested would be appropriate, especially if you develop symptoms, since your COPD puts you at higher risk if you were to become infected with Covid. Consult your physician.

COVID 19: You and your son should wear mask & socially distance even if you live in the same home. Please let your health provider know as you have increased risk factors for getting a more serious COVID 19 infection.
