I had cbc, have wbc of 15.5 and liver enzymes of 11.8 my drs said there not worried. i had a chest x-ray that showed inflamed heart but no further tests needed i was diagnosed with costochondritis do this sound right? ecg was normal to?

Sorry but that’s not enough information to determine what you have. I would discuss your concerns with your doctor.

As Dr. S stated more info is needed for us to advise you. A chest xray isn't capable of demonstrating inflammation of the heart muscle, but the EKG can. Costochondritis cannot be detected on a chest x-ray. The inflamed area in the chest wall is tender to touch. If you have any ongoing symptoms at this time or further concerns, I recommend seeing your physician for further evaluation and advice.
