As Dr. S stated more info is needed for us to advise you. A chest xray isn't capable of demonstrating inflammation of the heart muscle, but the EKG can. Costochondritis cannot be detected on a chest x-ray. The inflamed area in the chest wall is tender to touch. If you have any ongoing symptoms at this time or further concerns, I recommend seeing your physician for further evaluation and advice.
