Concerta & heart: Since cardiac arrhythmias r possible serious reaction to methylphenidate & rapid heart beat & palpitations r common reactions, your cardiac function should be monitored closely for changes. I would also b very cautious about using caffeinated products (including NSAID combinations) & decongestants (the "d" in claritin-d, zyrtec-d, etc) as they may further stimulate rapid heart beat.

Chest pain ?!: Chest pain should be checked asap if its new, mostly if you are on any stimulant. Patients on Concerta should have periodic cardiologic monitoring. See your dr.
