Could large fibroids cause amenorrhea? Im 42, havent had a period since August (not pregnant). Recently discovered I have 2 large fibroids, through a pelvic ultrasound. My period was regular before then. It just stopped suddenly.

Can you have PCOS without being insulin resistant? Have history of functional hypothalamic amenorrhea. Now periods 6 weeks apart, low progesterone, low normal estrogen and cortisol. Normal FSH and LH. Doc thinks PCOS but I'm slim and low testosterone?
