A 30-year-old female asked:
Is it normal to have amenorrhea when you have pcos and fibroids? doc said the pcos was "protecting" me from the heavy periods caused by fibroids.

Yes: Amenorrhea due to pcos is common due to no ovulation but it is not a good thing or protection because eventually you will have a very heavy period after couple of months
