Heart rate between 80-100 bpm even at rest. normally 60-65 bpm at rest. what could cause this. i am sick with a sinus infection and low fever 99.5 could that raise heart rate?

Fever and most illness can raise your heart rate. If you are not dizzy or lightheaded it is likely not an issue. If you are short of breath or having chest pain it is important to be checked by your doctor. Keep drinking plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Your elevated heart rate might well be due to the sinus infection and the fever. Please seek your doctor's help to eradicate the sinus infection. If this is a recurrent problem, you need help from an ENT specialist . I wish you good luck.
