Follow up will be now needed with a neurologist specializing in headaches. Idiopathic intracranial hypertension and the migraine spectrum of disorders will have to be considered among others in the differential diagnosis and treatment has to be individualized accordingly.

I would suggest taking medication everyday that can help prevent headaches from showing up in the first place. This could include nortriptine or topamax.

See a neurologist and confirm if migraine. Consider other causes and evaluate potential triggers. Many excellent OTC and prescriptions to choose for a preventative program

Please seek out a headache clinic in your area, probably at a local hospital. If they do not have a clinical psychologist on their team please find one. There are various types of headaches and related treatments. One possibility is biofeedback, another is clinical hypnosis (www.asch.net). Peace and good health.

Would probably recommend an evaluation by a neurologist.
