History: The next step will be a thorough history and examination of many aspects of your life. Don't accept "stress" as an explanation. Something as simple as needing a pair of eyeglasses can cause crippling daily headaches.

See Neuro: There are no easy answers for you. The good thing is your scans were normal. The cause of headaches are difficult to define, and at times may be purely a genetic trait you inherited. There are many trigger foods (such as caffeine) for example, that can cause headaches. Eye problems, menstrual/hormonal issues, etc. Can all play a role. Keep up with a neuro doc and be diligent.
