Mucinex is another OTC medication that can help reduce the discomfort and decongest the Eustachian tube opening in the back of your nose. Motrin is another medication that can help open the tube, provide relief and drain the middle ear fluid.

Definitely need to see your doctor for antibiotics and ear drops . If ear pressure is high, it can rupture your eardrum again. In the meantime take motrin for pain.
