Went to urgent care and they told me i had an ear infection. now i have a small amount of blood in ear. does this mean eardrum ruptured?

Possible: It is possible that there was a rupture which usually will heal with time and antibiotic treatment. Watch for recurrence, ear pain and fever. Please follow up with your PCP.

Maybe/not: It is not uncommon for the device inserted in the canal to examine the eardrum to scratch the canal & trigger some bleeding. Ear drums do rupture but often very early in the process, with infection producing pain that peaks & then subsides when the rupture releases the pressure. The only way to know for sure is to look at the canal & drum again.
