I may have ruptured my eardrum in a car accident 8 days ago. i had a video visit with a doctor and he gave me an antibiotic. im done taking it now, but my ear still feels clogged in a way & i feel pressure. is that normal? when should i feel better?

Unfortunately, on of the limitations of telemedicine is that we cannot thoroughly examine a patient using typical medical tools. If the antibiotic did not clear your ear problem, I would recommend that you see an urgent care Dr in person for an otoscope exam of your ear canal and drum. They can gauge the extent of injury and the progression of healing.
